NYE!!!

NYE IS TONIGHT!!! 2012 IS FINALLY ENDING!!
My only plans are getting comfortable on the couch, watching the NYE show and the ball drop before bed.  Last year at this time I was fast asleep; slept right through the beginning of 2012.  As a matter of fact I slept through a lot of 2012.

I am completely excited for 2013: Back to school, Theta Phi Alpha, I TURN 21, I will be hopefully 1 year cancer free, able to waterski this year at the lake and more!  This year in returning to school I am also aiming high hoping for great grades maybe even Dean's List.

Eve of NYE

So tomorrow is New Years Eve!
Anyone know a cute boy that has no girl to kiss at midnight, if so I am more than available haha.
Mom and Dad have plans, Greg is probably having friends over leaving me either in my room or on the couch alone.
So far this weekend due to the snow I've read like four books.

Relaxing

So since I woke up a little late, I relaxed before the Orthodontist and then dropped Mom off at the Scannella's house so she could go shopping with Caryn.  I went back in the direction of the orthodontist, to go to the library.  They didn't have really current books but they did actually have books for once.  I was SHOCKED!  Then when I got home I went to the store with Dad, and not to my surprise we ran into people he knew.  After a delicious dinner I watched Pitch Perfect with Mom and Dad!  It is now my newest favorite movie, I could probably watch it everyday and not get sick of it.   Now I am in bed, listening to the soundtrack and reading!  What to do tomorrow, the forecast says snow so maybe just lay around with a good book type of day!  We shall see!!!

HI ALL,
I HOPE YOU ALL HAD A WONDERFUL CHRISTMAS!!!  I got more then I ever could've asked for!  Then we got into the car and drove to Saratoga, to see the Marino cousins!  It took us about 2 and a half hours to get there!  We went down to the club-house after unloading the car and set up/waited for all the cousins.  Then eventually everybody arrived, we played and then it was dinner and before you know it it was PRESENT TIME!   Then back up at the house, the girls all crashed in Grandma's room and watched Pitch Perfect!  We all woke up and Greg was sick so we unfortunately had to come home :(.  I was fine with it except it took about 4 hours and 45 minutes to get home instead of about 2 and a half hours!

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

I am so thankful just for the fact I can remember this Christmas and be awake for it!  Last night we had a feast with tons of shrimp and scallops, then we all watched Trouble with the Curve.  Then I woke up at around 6am and woke everyone else up by 6:45!  Yes I am still a little kid at heart!   Then we went downstairs and opened presents....and boy did Santa think I was a good girl this year! Soon it will be time to pack up to go to Grandmas and see the family.

EVE OF CHRISTMAS EVE

TONIGHT IS THE EVE OF CHRISTMAS EVE!
Christmas 2012 means more to me than any other Christmas!  Mostly because I do not remember Christmas of last year at all!  I remember everyone coming over but thats about it!  I don't remember the clothes I wore, presents I gave and received, what we ate, everything.  So this year is going to be different!  Today I laid in bed, finished reading the Fifty Shades of Grey Series and relaxed gearing up for Christmas craziness with the Marino cousins!  Mom and I did one quick last shopping trip, and then I was sent away and she filled the stockings and wrapped presents in her room!  Oh and I caved in and got a Twitter so FOLLOW ME!! Greg refuses to so I spent dinner singing the song Follow me by Uncle Kracker.  Now I am doing Word Search puzzles, listening to music and then SLEEP!

Well contrary to Mayan beliefs,  the world did not end today.  In fact its only just beginning for some people!  Today I went to Walmart for some must need items and new crafts, and later on Greg and I went to the mall to get him a case for his new phone.  In between outings I finished reading yet another book!  I'm getting very excited for Christmas!!

Cant wait for Christmas

To start off the day, I was home alone, so I called Grandma, and did my laundry, as well as blasting my music.  After the laundry was completed, I packed for Grandma's house because I want to be sure I don't wear the things I want to wear there, now.  Then of course I went back out to the mall and of course found more things I wanted for Christmas.  To add to my list I want a white IPHONE5, knee high boots, Pitch Perfect; even though I have a feeling the sleigh is already packed.  Oh well now I know what to spend money on if I am fortunate enough to get any for Christmas. I am so excited and so looking forward to Christmas!Then tomorrow I am hopefully going to a Christmas Party!

Amazing Day with my little!!!

Today I ventured to Woodcliff Lake to visit my Little! and we exchanged Christmas Gifts, along with lunch at none other than Panera Bread!  Then when Mom went to the doctor, I got to hang out with Brooke!  We played Mario Party 8!  Then when Mom and I came back, I went to Walmart hoping that I could get Pitch Perfect, but nope Sold out!! But I did end up getting Trouble with the Curve another great movie!  Tonight is also the finale of the Voice; What to watch??

Christmas Gift from my Little

Stay strong Newtown!!

Hi Everyone,
Well I'm sure most of you have heard about the horrible Tragedy that has recently happened in Newtown Connecticut.  That is where my youngest cousins Grant, Ellie, Johnny and Teddy live with my Aunt Donna and Uncle Scott.  Thankfully the family is okay given that the kids go to one of the other four schools and Teddy has off on Fridays, THANKFULLY.  If not my little Teddy Bear could've possibly been in that school!!!!!  My cousins do have friends whose siblings have passed and I feel terrible.  All I can think about is wanting to go to Newtown and hug my cousins very tightly.  Mom and I might go Friday just to have some peace of mind.
But today Dad and I made our Christmas card (better late than never right?)  Tomorrow Mom and I are off to Woodcliff Lake, she has a dr appointment and I am going to hangout with my LITTLE!!
In all seriousness though, the News needs to STOP getting in everyones faces in Newtown!!!  Report back when they know the entire story correctly.  These families and kids need to get back to a semi-normal lifestyle and grieve in private, without news-casts in their faces all the time!!  If you really want to report something, report on what others can do for the people of Newtown, or what actions are going to be taken to prevent another incident from happening.  Let the town grieve and that be it.
I hope my little cousins and all their friends keep up their bravery and go back to school tomorrow; I am thinking of every single one of you!

Thankful

As most people know, yesterday's massacre happened at Sandy Hook Elementary in Newtown CT.  Newtown is the town where my cousins Grant, Ellie, Johnny and Teddy live.  Thankfully Teddy has off on Friday's or he would have been inside that school, in the wing where this psycho decided to harm innocent children!!!!  The other kids were in lockdown at their schools.  I am inspired by the teachers who did everything in their power to protect their children, and feel more than terribly sorry about all the lives that he took.

On a happier note today is my big's birthday.  HAPPY BIRTHDAY DIANA! You are the best big I could've asked for! I miss you so much and cannot wait to see you soon!
Now I'm off to clean the house because thats what Mom wants.

Done Christmas Shopping!

Today I finished my Christmas shopping!!  Then Greg and I went to go get adjusted since I felt like a hunchback/cripple.  Next we went home I got beautified and then Dad took our Christmas Card picture........FINALLY!! I looked good in every single one obviously but Greg on the other hand had some squinty eye moments.... mom are you sure he's not adopted and half asian hahahah!! Then we got pizza at Matta Donna's for dinner, and all fought over who got to eat the last slice.  Finally showered and am now laying on my queen sized bed waiting for Glee!!!!

HAPPY 12/12/12 DAY EVERYBODY!!!
Did you make a wish???  Today it took me awhile but i did figure out that I have been alive for all the triple days meaning same month/day/year!! Today aside from it being 12/12/12, I was productive, and made some arts and crafts which will be Christmas Presents!  Then I went next door and gave my little girls their Hannukah Presents.  To top of the night, and I am watching the 12/12/12 Sandy Relief Concert.

Shop till U Drop!!!

Today was Shop till I drop day!!! Mom and I went to Short Hills to get some Christmas Shopping done, and the more I looked the more I found stuff to add to my Christmas list; natural reaction right!! In between on a break from shopping Mom and I went to lunch at Cheesecake Factory!  Then we went to Michael's' to find a picture frame for Mom's present which is going to be a framed picture of Greg and I, granted the picture get taken before Christmas!! But the good news is that I am starting to feel better YAY!

Getting this sickness over with

So this time last year I was sick as well.  But this year I am getting it over with early so that at Christmas I can actually 1 Remember it and 2 Spend time with my cousins!  Last night I was passed out before 8pm and woke up around 10:30am.  Mom finally agreed that I needed some sort of medicine so we called Dr. Weine and wallah Medicine called in and received.  I am starting to feel a little better I think getting to bed early again tonight will help. I need to get better before all of my friends arrive back home for Winter Break!!  So I am currently laying in bed watching Gilmore Girls, Greg is watching the Jets LOSE and Mom and Dad are out shopping.  This year I am promising not to sneak and find out what I am getting for Christmas!

You can tell its Winter

No its not snowing, but other signs of winter are showing.  The cold weather and getting sick; first Greg has pneumonia and then I started to feel under the weather.  Yesterday Greg was on his way to school and saying something is wrong with the car.  So I went with Dad to get the car and we tried to get to the dealership, but made it just 5 minutes short.  So Dad and I waited about an hour and a half, for a tow truck.  When we got to the dealership I found a car I really liked even lOVED and of course Dad said NO.  Then we went to Wendy's to get me food then off to the doctor.  Dr. Weine checked me out and said I was fine and I said I think I should get medicine and he said no!  So of course we came home and later that night I ended up with a fever of 101.2, do I know myself or what?
So then at dinner we were talking about it, and I said Greg should've met us after he was done with class to wait for the truck so I could go home.  But NO.  So I made the analogy of comparing Greg to the Prince of England and myself as Annie the Orphan.  Everyone seemed to find it pretty funny yet we all know it is the truth!!! So that is my saga from these past few days!!

Yesterday and today Mom and I went to CT! Aunt Donna had to be at the doctor today so I got to stay home with TEDDY!!!!! It was the first day in a long time that I did not sit around and attempt to find something on television.  Now Orientation is tomorrow morning and it is EARLY.

Danielle's Bat Mitzvah

Yesterday was finally Danielle's Wicked Bat Mitzvah!  It was such an honor to be there!! I love Danielle and Jaime as if they are my sisters.  I even got to say something to her which made the day really special!  Oh and I finally got an updated pictures with my girls! It was amazing! Not to mention that I looked really good if i do say so myself!!
Today its off to RRCC Christmas Party! I think I am going to sleep really well!

Tomorrow!!

Tomorrow is finally Danielle's Bat Mitzvah!  I am so excited for it, so in preparation today Mom and I are going to get Manicures and Pedicures!   But last night we went to Kohls (mostly because we had a coupon) and of course shopped.  I think I am going to like Christmas this year!  But in the meantime before tomorrow I am going to be working on my portfolio for my creative writing class that is due on Tuesday then I am done until I go to Ramapo!  Oh and of course tomorrow starts the countdown to Christmas!!

Welcome to the land of Boredom!!!!

As the title says; Welcome to the Land of Boredom!!!  I have nothing to do and it isn't helping.  I have NOTHING to do, so much so that last night I fell asleep by 9:30pm and woke up at 10am.  Also yesterday I went to the Dr to get a Mantoux test so that I could go back to school!  Next on my list of things to do is get my nails done and make Danielle her card.  Oh and still figure out what to do for all my loved ones for Christmas!  At least this weekend will be filled with fun and entertainment!

Getting Ready!

This week is crazy!  First after I woke up I went to Lisa's to get my hair all trimmed up for Danielle's Bat Mitzvah!  Then I made all the phone calls for school and the best part is I do not need to take a placement test for english or math!!!!!!!!!  Next I tried on a few different outfits to decide what exactly I am going to wear to the Bat Mitzvah.  Tomorrow's agenda involves going to the Dr to get a mantaux test to go back to school!  Then guitar lessons and hopefully free movie Tuesday.

I am so excited for this bat mitzvah and I have to get a picture of me with my girls because the last picture I have of the 3 of us was my high school prom which was in 2010! So that is going to change!

Its beginning

Its beginning to look a lot like the holidays! Last night we went to dinner at the Country Club with Caryn and Jim.  Today Mom and I spent the day decorating for Christmas! Then tonight I have the pleasure of babysitting my two favorite girls Jaime and Danielle.  I am also having difficulty deciding what to get all my loved ones for Christmas or Hanukkah.  I am excited for the holidays because this year I will remember them unlike last year!

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

HAPPY THANKSGIVING EVERYBODY!
This year I am thankful for being alive, and all the people who stood by my family and I while I was battling and defeating cancer!! I am also thankful for all of my friends and family no matter how I met them!  So last night on Thanksgiving Eve, Dad and I went to the city and saw the balloons blown up! Today we are spending Thanksgiving with the Scannella family, who I basically consider my second family, and dinners and holidays at their house are always entertaining. Oh and Happy 20th Birthday to the best Little I could've asked for!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY LITTLE!!

Sleepy Saturday

So I woke up to Mom almost burning the kitchen down; she was attempting to make soup and the pot cracked, oil leaked then flames!  Then started my breakfast with the usual of two Eggo Waffles.  Then I finished my book Sorority Girls by Claudia Welch.  I recommend this book to every girl who is in a sorority or is considering rushing one! I also had a photo shoot with Greg; he took the pictures while I modeled Mom's latest knitting projects that are now finished.  Then I looked at all my Gamma Rho sisters' pictures of initiation that was last night!   Finished the day with Pizza for dinner.  Now I am starting another book and then eventually going to sleep because for some reason I'm exhausted.

RESULTS DAY

Today was the day the results come in. Mom shook me awake I got ready, and off we went.  Naturally once we left we realized all we forgot but kept going anyways.  Checked in, and then did the normal routine minus the blood test.  I lost 4 more pounds so Mom and I both weren't to thrilled.  Finally they come in and say the results aren't in yet.  So then the nerves began thinking Why don't they have them, they said they'd have the results by now.  Finally Dr. Morganstein came back in and said STABLE. THE MRI IS STABLE. I immediately did a dance.  3 more months of no doctor and no MRI until February 2013. So then we got home and Dad and I went to a celebratory lunch at Wendy's and then did the shopping of course. But boy am i happy.  This is a Great day for one and all.

Let the Waiting Begin!

My MRI was Yesterday.  It was easy since I was so tired I hadn't really slept before; and we were running late and they took me right in, so I didn't have to sit and wait and think about it forever.  The first part went smoothly and then they pulled me out to put in the dye via my port; and holy crap did it hurt!! I think it hurt mostly because my port hadn't been accessed since my last MRI in August.  In I went again and before I knew it, it was over!  Then I slept again the entire way home from RWJUH.  Later that afternoon I had guitar lessons, which are fun yet frustrating.  Later that night Greg and I went to Free movie Tuesday and saw Argo! I enjoyed it.  Then when we came home it was 10 and you think I'd be tired, but I wasn't.  I then tried putting in my cartilage piercing and I think I pretty much re-pierced it because my ear started bleeding....oops!! Getting to sleep became annoying because my port was hurting; I think again because it hadn't been accessed in so long.  But now the waiting game begins for the results, in less than 24 hours I will know the results and I hope they are excellent! Dr. Morganstein is really going to enjoy tomorrow when I hand him all the paperwork that has to be filled out for me to go back to school! So if anyone has any ideas how I can stay occupied today PLEASE let me know!! Well I hope everyone has a good day!

MRI TOMORROW

Tomorrow is my 6 month post treatment MRI!!!! I AM FREAKING OUT!! I hate the closed MRI especially because my head is encased in some contraption!  And even though they put in ear-plugs you can still hear the machine.  So no Wonder why I freak out!!! Especially because I'm in there for what seems like forever!! Hopefully after this one they'll say I only need an MRI like every 6 months or  even better once a year; though I doubt it because they just love torturing me!!
So for now I am calming myself with music and then some television!! I DESERVE A GIFT/PRIZE FOR DOING THIS!!! Its like my worst nightmare!!

HOME!!

All I can say is boy does it feel good to be in my own bed! Not that I don't like being at Grandmas I do....ALOT!  But there's a time when you feel like you should be home!  Oh also because my MRI is the day after tomorrow EEK!! I hate the MRI, to say the least I'd rather eat a bug or vegetables all day then participate in this MRI!  But thats all that's going on here!
Time to hunker down in my bed and read or watch TV!!!

One more Day

Well Mom and I are staying in Saratoga just one more day!  Since the boys said the power went out again but is apparently back on! Though I hate to leave Grandma's because I have been so productive, since I've been here I've accomplished my homework, registered for Orientation at Ramapo, and read two books!  Yes thats right I finished another book!  I loved it; just reading a book for pleasure without worrying when the paper was due or the date of the test on the material!  Thats all thats really been happening!

POWER RESTORED

I think yesterday's entry asking for the power to be restored worked!! AS OF TODAY WE HAVE POWER!! So tonight I am enjoying my last night at Grandma's before Christmas.  But in essence I have a accomplished a lot while at Grandmas; I finished a book, spent lots of time on Pinterest, school-work, some shopping and of course a daily lunch at Panera!  An added bonus was while I was here I did get to spend two days with my cousins!!

No Power

Dear Electric Company
It has been 10 days without power.  This has an affect on schools, and everyone in general.  Especially people like me whom have a suppressed immune system and can't survive the cold very long!  Luckily we were able to make it to my grandparents but it is nicer when you can stay in your own home.  I know based on the situation I am lucky to have a home but it would be great if heat and power came along with it.
Not that Grandma's house hasn't been fun, I just miss my own room and bed.  Not to mention my own TV with DVR.  I don't even want to think about how many of my favorite shows haven't recorded because the power is still yet to be restored.  Not to mention at Grandma's I don't have my full wardrobe!! I am anxiously awaiting, everytime my phone or my moms phone rings we think it could be Dad or Greg announcing we can come home because the power is back on; however every single time it has been saying sorry to disappoint you but no the power is still not on!  Enough is Enough already!  I understand you needed time to get all the parts for transformers but in todays day when there is over-night shipping you should really have things restored.

On a positive note GLEE RETURNS TONIGHT!!

Oh what an Adventure...Thanks Sandy!!

Well the past few days/week or so has been quite an adventure.  First, Greg and I find out that our Grandfather has passed.  Then preparation for Hurricane Sandy!! The stores were so packed it was crazy!  But as usual our house lost power, and unfortunately is still out of power.  But everything and everyone else is fine.  I was so cold and tired of having no light that Mom and I came to Saratoga early! Its always fun to be at Grandmas house, good food, cousins and especially this time HEAT!! The best part even though the circumstances weren't so great, I got the opportunity to see all of my cousins and extended family.  Of course we topped the weekend off with a trip to Sushi Thai Garden; the grandchildren's' favorite restaurant!

Mom and I are still here because I refused to go home back to the freezing cold house.  But don't worry I already voted (thank you mail-in ballot!) But hopefully the power will come back on soon because I miss my shows, TV and BED!!

I Hope everyone else was as lucky as I was to only lose power.  If not I am so sorry and let me know if I can help in anyway!!!

HURRICANE IS ON HER WAY!!!

Hurricane Sandy is on her way!!!! The past few days Dad and I have been preparing, stocked up on water, and food we could cook on the stove and such.  Just incase the power goes out I've been eating more than my normal quota of eggo waffles so that none go to waste!!  Then today Greg and I went to Connecticut for a few hours to get Mom and bring her HOME!!! Also am charging my portable phone charger so if the power goes out my phone won't die :D.

Big/Little

Tonight at SHU is the big/little reveal for my sorority!! I remember two years ago when I got my big/ family line how excited/nervous I was!! Then how even more nervous/excited I was when I got my little last year!  I hope everyone has a wonderful time tonight and I wish so much I could be there; take pictures so I could pretend I was.

So what did I do today:  I went to bed at around 9 last night and woke up around 10am this morning!! Got ready and then went out to lunch with Mrs. Seipp and her granddaughter Emma who is adorable!!! Then I went to the mall and picked up Greg's clothes and bought myself a cute dress from Forever XXI.  Next, I went to Pathways and caught up with Mrs. Monaghan!  

In all I believe today was a good day!  Now what to do tomorrow?

Today was interesting, to say the least.  First I went to Jennifer's' by myself, yes all alone without Mom.    Then I scanned some pictures.  Then my favorite part of Tuesdays, GUITAR LESSONS.  I think I did pretty well, considering I was the only one in the group who can't read music! Tomorrow hopefully Road trip to Saratoga by myself if not, more laundry...lucky me!  But Dad did take me to Cheesecake Factory for Dinner which made me very happy!

10/20/12 AMAZING DAY

Yesterday I woke up excited and helped Dad find some pictures.  Then I went to Ramapo to Theta Phi Alpha's 3rd Annual HR Derby and all proceeds went to the Susan G Kolman Foundation.  I arrived and was nervous no one would like me; turns out these girls are amazing and I think I found some new best friends!!!!!!!!  Then I went home for a break and then met up with Megan and some other Alumni at the MTHS Marching Band Competition.  That was fun, I got to march my old high school marching band onto the field!  To top it all off I got to present an award at the end! Amazing Day ended with an amazing nights rest!!
Today I plan on finishing the Italy Scrapbook and searching for pictures of Grandpa!!!!

Loss for Words

Basically I just stayed home all day.  Also at SHU a 19 year old died of cardiac arrest possibly from OD.  I cannot imagine the parents receiving that phone call. My parents almost lost me so I cannot even imagine parents actually losing their teenager.  Then there is his roommate or roommates; I can't even imagine them going back to their room and finding out that piece of information.  My heart goes out to all of my friends and family at Sacred Heart University!

RAMAPO!!!

This past week since Dad and I came home from Saratoga has been interesting.  Today was awesome I got so much done! For starters I cleaned my room, Yes I knew a floor was somewhere underneath all of the clothes! Then I went to Ramapo to visit Melissa Pepe! It was GREAT to see her, have her show me around campus and catch up!  I did all the things I had to do while I was there, get a piece of Ramapo College, hand in the deposit and pick up some forms.  Something I found Interesting is that laundry and printing is free....I LOVE THAT.  so much better than SHU trying to pay when half the time the dryer didn't dry your clothes so you had to spend more $. Oh and which I probably already said but they have Theta Phi Alpha there too! I AM SOO EXCITED!

BAND DETAIL ATTENHUT!!!

Today was probably the most entertaining day I've had since I can't remember when! Amanda Loftus and I hung out all day. lots of walks, lots of talking and great food!!!!  Then after dinner, we decided we should go see the band practice and they got a whole lot smaller than when I was in band.  It was definitely entertaining none the less.  Tomorrow I have to finish our Italy scrapbook, Pathways and send the check to RAMAPO!!!

5 months flew by

HAPPY 5 MONTHS ANNIVERSARY SINCE MY STEM CELL TRANSPLANT!! Man has time flown by.  Last night my Yankees won and I hope they could do it again tonight!! Also Gossip Girl starts tonight, the final season, I have been watching it inappropriate or not since I was about 8 years old!!! Also I have been emailing the President from TPA at Ramapo and she seems nicer than majority of the girls at SHU ever were!  I am so excited to start school again! Since these few months have flown by so quickly I'm sure it'll be here before you know it!

Rainy Weekend

This rainy weekend has not been that bad.  I have worked on our Italy scrapbook (because we've only been home for about 4 years it should be done).  Last night I babysat Jaime and Danielle and to my surprise Jaime fell asleep so early!  In the meantime D and I watched Mean Girls.  I think Mean Girls is a great movie and could even relate the characters in it to college life!  Today was freezing so I sported my Penguin hat and gloves.  I also worked on the scrapbook before dinner.  It is also a good day because the Giants Won, and now the Yankees are going to work on Baltimore! Hopefully tomorrow will be a sunnier day if not, I guess the scrapbook will be worked on!

It would be a complete gleeful day if it wasn't disgusting outside.  Then I went to Pathways and actually the little kid I read with was the little boy who used to bite me the year I was a camp counselor at Valley View.  To make the situation weirder, once I said my name he actually remembered who I was and said "I bit you at camp didn't I."  Came home and dinner was ready; steak and a sweet potato! Now I am in my room, watching Television and waiting to watch Glee!!!

HOMECOMING!!!!!

Hi everyone!
Homecoming was entertaining to say the least.  Surprisingly Sacred Heart actually WON!  The bands half-time performance was phenomenal!  Saw a bunch of sisters, and other people it was fun.  oh and I GOT INTO COLLEGE....again!!! Ramapo!  I am actually excited because I get a vehicle, and I'm close to family friends and then I could babysit!

Alumni Weekend!!

Hi from the 9th floor at Sacred Heart University! I am here for alumni weekend and staying with my "little sister" Brooke!!  So far I've been attacked by some friends, went to the mall and now we're back in her room attempting some homework.  Tomorrow I will get to see a bunch more people at the football game! It feels good yet weird to be back. Oh well I'm going to make the best of the time I have here!

SHU!!!!

New time, New Things

Today I went back to see Dr. Morganstein!  Best part is I don't have to go back for 6 weeks, I didn't need to get blood taken, and he even said soon we'd talk about getting my port out!!!!!!!!  Then this afternoon I went to the recreation center with our neighbor MJ and started guitar lessons!!! I thought I'd be terrible then when I started I didn't think I was that bad.  I am excited and the best part is that I get to go back to school this coming weekend.

9/23 8 months until my birthday

Yesterday Greg and I went up to CT, he dropped me at SHU and then headed up to QU.  So much at SHU has changed I was shocked and also beyond excited to see my Little Brooke!  That night was bid night, I got to meet all of the girls who joined TPA and see my other sisters!
Missed them and Cannot wait for homecoming next weekend

Lazy Day

So today I accomplished quite a bit.  I didn't sleep much, finished my homework, and got my nails done with Mom.  I also went a little crazy because tomorrow I get to go visit my sisters at Sacred Heart and meet the new members of Theta Phi Alpha Gamma Rho Chapter at their Bid Night!  But first, I get to go babysit my next door neighbors Danielle and Jaime.  Before I know it, Danielle will be 13 and I will no longer be needed :(.  So I am taking all the chances to babysit that I can.

Out and About

Earlier in the day I finished my homework assignments.  Then I went with Laura to visit CSE, since I don't think I can return to SHU :(.  Next, I went to MTHS' home varsity soccer game and they won 3-0; Good Job Eric and the rest of the Mustangs.  While we were waiting to pick Eric up, I saw the color guard practicing and thought hmm I really want to see their halftime performance.  So then Amanda and I ended up getting dinner then going to the game.  We had fun except we partially turned into popsicles.  Best part was Montville wasn't losing too badly.  Finally after halftime show, we left because we were frozen, then as soon as I got home I put on warm clothes!  Now I am laying in bed watching TV and going to sleep.

Past few Days

Yesterday was interesting to say the least.  I had a Cognitive test to see if I'd get any help when I go back to school, wherever that may be!  Then I went with our neighbor Mary Jo to see her oldest son Eric play Varsity soccer!!! Best thing was Montville won!
Then today Amanda and I hung out!! Lunch then classic hangout time!!   Then I went to Pathways like I used to in hs and I LOVED IT!!

Grandma's House

Hello, from Saratoga Springs New York!  Yesterday Mom and Dad decided we would go visit Grandma and Grandpa for the weekend! So I quickly packed and then had lunch with Michele Gannon then afterwards we were off to Grandma's!!  Of course I brought my homework but I am currently not being very productive.  Tonight is hopefully Thai Food Night!
This week is doctors appointments and then next week is CT!!!!!!!! I can't wait to see my sisters!!

Hi Everybody,
Well yesterday despite the weather, Mom and I went to CT to see some of the family!  It was a lot of fun, Teddy's leg is doing a lot better; Grandma and Grandpa came along with some of the extended family.  Aunt Dorothy, Aunt Lisa, John, Lauren, Luke, Ava, Micheal, Sally, Leila and Eden!  I was in my glory with all the kids around, the best part being that I got to hold Eden who is only about 7 weeks old.  It has been awhile since I held a baby so I was in my glory.  Grandpa was also happy to see his sister and be able to help celebrate her birthday.  I was sad when everyone left and then we had to leave too.  Called Dad first to see if the weather was okay at home, he said the tornado had gone through and we should be fine!
Now off to do some more homework!

If you all couldn't guess today is my sororities 100th Birthday.  TPA was founded in 1912 at the University of Michigan by St. Catherine of Siena.  Theta Phi Alpha has brought me wonderful sisters for a lifetime.  I love and miss them so much I wish I could be with them all today!

SCHOOL TOMORROW...

SCHOOL STARTS TMRW....well kind of.  I'm taking 2 online classes so I don't really go to school.  But baby its time to prove my brain works and that I could've gone back to SHU this semester!!!!   So Greg is going to bartend a party near QU this weekend so he won't be home....anyone want to take me in for the weekend I'm dying to get away and do something that doesn't involve being in Montville or more so my bedroom, I'm sick of it!!!!  All my doctors are off on fancy vacations; I wish I was too!! I am really hyper right now yet tired at the same time, and I believe its due to boredom.

Slept till 2:30pm

Today I slept until 2:30pm!!!   Then I laid around watching television all day, ate and now i'm basically ready to go back to sleep!!! Mostly because I am jealous that all of my friends are back at school waiting to start classes tomorrow.  I was like a different kid, going insane, laughing at dinner, back to my somewhat old self.I thought I started Tuesday then looked on WebAdvisor to see that I started 8/30, so a few more days of summer!!

Sorry Its been awhile

Hi all who actually still read this haha.  I have been busy hanging out with friends, wishing I could go back to school, and well mostly wishing I could be back at SHU.  All day long I've had to deal with seeing pictures of friends moving in, their rooms etc.  I took my friend Amanda Loftus to our pool and then we drove around Boonton or Denville whatever town it is admiring the mansions and wishing we lived in one.  Then we came back here and watched part of the movie called Zookeeper.  Oh an I've been driving :)

100 post/MRI

Finally the 3 month MRI was here.  Waking up was a hassle but we then finally made it to RWJ.  Signed in then the problems started; first they claimed they couldn't access the port, then I saw the thing my was encased in during the MRI.  Then came me getting to the point where I had a mini panic attack!  Mom was in the room with me, but I still didn't like it very much.  Slept in the car on the way home then pretty much took it easy the rest of the day.  On the upside Daddy let me drive YAYYYYYYYYY

MRI IS ON MONDAY!!!

The Day after tomorrow is my MRI!!!!!! Also tomorrow my little girls come home from camp :D then i know i'll always have people home to hangout with.  Today I hung out with Vicki and can't wait to do it more often since she's now going to school near home.  Atleast we know we each will be home to hangout with since everyone else is basically leaving.  To be honest I wish I was leaving even though SHU is expensive now.  Other than that my plans for the weekend are relaxing until the MRI

NEW LAPTOP!!!!

I got a new Macbook Air!! Well only because Mom needed a "new" computer so I gave her my old one which isn't even that old.  So Dad is pretty much all finished loading all the software on it.  MRI is on Monday

Home from saratoga!

Home and already wishing we were back!  Saratoga is my favorite place to go; pool within walking distance, thai food, good pizza, Grandma, Grandpa!  Cousins came for a short 24-48 hr visit and we were at the pool forever racing and pretending we were 2012 Olympic Swimmers.
Now home with Dr. M tomorrow and then MRI Monday!

Dream

Dear Mom, Couldn't you keep me in a sport thats important now a days?? I mean I cant win a medal in babysitting or spinning a sabre or rifle!!  So I decided in about 8 years I will be the chaperone for my cousin Ethan when he attends the Olympic Games for swimming!!
Today I got to watch our family friends kids Ryan and James and they are adorable! I took them to the park and learned I am too tall to play on the playground aside from the swings and seesaw.  I whacked my head which made my head really hurt.
To end the day, I am watching the Olympics and gearing up for my trip to Saratoga!!!!!!!

Home Alone!!

Home Alone tonight...well Greg will be here but I'm sure he'll just be relaxing in his room.  Mom and Dad are going out with Caryn and Jim.  Today for the first time since August, I spun my rifle outside, even though it was really hot!  Also my hair is really growing, I'll have my long locks back in no time!

Home too soon

Hi back again in Montville.  I realized while we were at the lake that saying being okay with not going in the lake is easier said then done from 3 and a half miles away.  I made mom so upset that she left, then dad threw me in the car and headed home.  I have been a crying mess since 10 am yesterday, that was my only chance to see my cousins.
 I don't know how any of my cousins, grandparents, aunts or uncles will forgive me, and if my mom, dad and greg ever will

Day 1

Hi from the Sunset Mtn Lodge in Brant Lake NY! We arrived around 1-1:30 unpacked our car and grandmas then had lunch, went to store. Then sat outside and waited for some families to arrive.
I thought I was ok with not going in the lake but after looking at it I really have no idea how im going to survive this week!!!! Help!

3 DAYS TO GO

3 MORE DAYS!!!!!! BRANT LAKE HERE WE COME!!! Today I packed all my clothes and of course I think I over-packed (2 full duffle bags and my backpack).  Dressy clothes, shorts, tank tops, bikinis, toiletries, medicine! Last thing I have to pack is some nail polish, to do my cousins nails.  Ready for full days in my bathing Mom getting items off one of her many lists for the lake, rewarded ourselves with Wendy's and Greg got Taco Bell and now we are "hiding" in our rooms!!

4 days and counting!!

Today is officially 4 days until BRANT LAKE!!!!!!! Today I went with Aunt Chrissy and Aunt Kathy to pick up Sofi and Rachel from their trip to Peru!  Came home for lunch then they left but no worries I will be sharing a room with them starting Saturday. I laid out clothes to pack,  maybe even too many clothes if that is possible.

Getting Ready for the Lake

Yes in this what seemed like 90 degree heat, Mom and I left the house.  A few errands then we went to Kohls because I insist on having a bikini for the lake!  Then we ended up at the club for dinner because we had nothing in the house, we all had our usual meals especially me; Filet Mignon and French Fries...YUM!! I cannot believe that in one week I will be in a house with 27 people, too much food, and a little too much excitement, lets see if my body can handle that haha!  In all I am very excited to see my cousins so soon!

Summer can FINALLY begin

Yesterday at the doctors, I FINALLY got the go ahead to be approved to swim!!!  They say I should wait 48 hours after the ports been accessed though, so tomorrow I Will be going swimming!! Now summer can be a little more normal.


Next week is Brant Lake!!!!!! I am beyond excited to be reunited with all my cousins, aunts and uncles.  Even though I cannot go in the lake, I will be the photographer!

Last night I actually left the house and went to Chelsea's Graduation Party and watched the fireworks! Yes, Montville does 4th of July the weekend before, carnival and all.  It was weird at Chelsea's Party to see Greg with kids that he had gone to school with since Kindergarden and now they are all going to be seniors in college, where did time go???  I wish I brought my camera to take pictures, Oh well!!

SARAtoga!!!

Home from Saratoga Springs and I already want to go back!!  I got to see a few cousins, lay by the pool, take pictures, and THAI FOOD!!! While out by the pool, I got a tan/or burn as my neck looks like a tomato.  Also while I was sticking my legs in the water, Greg jumped in and I got a little wet, Greg what part of only my feet can get wet did you not understand??  Annie and I walked down by the water and took some pictures, of each other and together, Dad said they look really good!! Every night, we watched the Olympic Trials, and also talked about Brant Lake which is coming up so so soon!! I cannot wait to see all of my cousins.  Oh and I feel a lot better, my tongue is not as yellow, and food is starting to taste more normal again, thank you medicine!!

Inquiring Minds want to know what I'm up too

The weather has been crappy, as have how I've been feeling.  My head still hurts and its frustrating me! We went to visit MSU and iI think I may just defer another semester all together.  The simplest questions I couldn't answer, and the easy things to explain just didn't come out right.  I sleep and read a lot, as well as bug my mother, get on my brothers nerves, and have Dad ask me what I want from dinner from around 8 in the morning until whenever he goes shopping.  Music has also saved me from many hours of boredom during this process.  I am also getting frustrated that the flow of mail has stopped.  So thats basically all I've been up too!

Today we got to go to CT and see not only my cousins but my grandparents too!! I also used my new camera.  I wish a day like today could be every day.

The Dr said today pool water may be okay but the lake is off limits!!!  Also no driving :( :(, and that technically its now gone from a 3 month recovery to 6 so I may not be able to go back in the fall!!  But I get to return to Dr. Morganstein :D.  Im mostly pissed off about the driving because now all my friends are having parties and its embarrassing to be 20yrs old and get dropped off and picked up by your Mommy, Daddy, or older brother.  Tonight we went over to the Gallopo's, joined by the Scannella's for some pizza.  Yum!! Lets hope it stays down.  The Really good news is my favorite second grade teacher became a Grandma today, a healthy baby boy who I cannot wait to meet!!
I guess I could go to bed now, Night Everyone.

Eye DR

Today was the day I got to see the 2 men that saved my life, the eye doctors!!!  Just to make sure my prescription hasn't changed with all the chemo and medicine.  Turns out it hasn't, all is good.  They also told me the optic nerve  that was so messed up is back to normal and they didn't see any swelling near my brain!! Amazing what some of these machines could do, and to make this day even better Mom took me to the SPA for lunch and Dad made home-made chinese food for dinner.
Now I am off to bed in hope of more good news down in New Brunswick tomorrow!

How I am getting so tired of MRI'S and blood work.  Oh as well as getting up at 7:30 to get ready to leave.  Then I get home and I still feel crummy so I went to sleep.  Woke up and ate waffles for dinner, now I'm back in bed.

DEVILS WIN!!!!!

Yesterday after feeling a little down I had my friend Amanda Loftus over, and we laughed so hard at times I then had a stomach ache by the time she left.  Before I knew it,  it was dinner time (pasta again) and then GAME TIME.  The Devils needed to win this game to stay in the running for the cup, and they did just that!!!! So in all it was a good day!
Today consists of relaxing, listening to music and watching TV.  Also with hope that all 3 meals will stay down into my stomach!

No Looking Back

Well bye bye SHU my dreams of you are gone, actually they're still in my head but I guess I'd rather have that dream in my head than cancer or the tumor.  Last night went shopping on Amazon and used my gift cards from Beth and the girls.  Today Mom and I went to Gooserock Farms today to get more honey, talked to Aunt Donna and Aunt Kathy.  Other than that I've been in my room on Facebook and listening to music trying to figure out whats next.  To be honest I'm jealous of my cousins going out on their new boat this weekend, other cousins studying and I'm just kinda stuck here getting better.  They're also getting older tonight's my cousin Annie's 8th Grade Dance, I remember mine!!! 
Going to bed early tonight so I can stay up for some Devil's action tomorrow!!

Dr's and Relaxation

Tuesday we headed back down to RWJ and more blood work, this time through my port then up to the DR.  Cut back more meds, and next week is more blood work and an MRI.  Hopefully after the MRI they'll tell me its okay to drive again!! Today 6/6 I relaxed and Amanda Fano came over for a few hours and we were talking about prom, and how we wish we could relive some years of school!!  Oh and today mom told me my dreams of going back to Sacred Heart are crushed so there ya go!

Weekend

So after seeing all the beautiful dresses and such Friday, I slept and geared up for Saturday.  Dinner with the Perconti's at the Country Club!!! It was so much fun, Garrett told me the good news that he got into Georgetown, and Olivia told me she'll be sticking around for awhile so I'll have someone to hangout with!! Then Yesterday, the weather was crappy so I stayed in my "cave" and relaxed watching TV until the power went out.  So only choice for dinner was something we could use our gas stove for., therefore I had Pancakes.  Then a few hours later upchucked those.
I just want things to get back to normal!!!!

Today I got to see one of my good friends Chelsea Ritschel off to prom!! Then we went to the Dezao's house where I got to see kids in my grade and all the kids dressed for prom.  It really makes me wish I was a senior again!! Home!!

I LOVE BEING HOME!!! Today i got lots of rest, and got adjusted.  Then Greg got a call from Michele and we went over to help with MLA style for some of Matts hw.  But I really cannot wait for tomorrow to see one of my oldest friends Chelsea Ritschel go off to her senior prom!!

Taking it Easy

Last night it felt so good to watch the Devils on my own TV and to end the series and go to play for the Stanley Cup!!! I spent the day relaxing, laughing at Greg because Mom finally went in to clean his room, and listened to music.  Beth and Jaime also stopped by, Thank You for the gift!!!  Now I am watching the Yankee Game, waiting for dinner.  After dinner just more relaxing and saving all my energy for that one week at the lake!! oh and

20 and HOMEEE

Yesterday I turned 20!!! But I spent it in the hospital, but everyone was amazing.  They gave me cake, balloons, even a penguin!! And of course, the family was there.  So if i had to be in a hospital for my birthday, this was a pretty good one.
Today I got to go HOME  and I couldn't be happier.  Then I got a surprise. Mrs Ryan and Julie stopped by with a birthday gift from themselves and the Gallopo family.  I got a new coach bag, THANK YOU~ then I took a nap until dinner, ate and am now watching some tv but slowly falling asleep.

Bad Luck

Boy did it feel great to sleep in my own bed!! Watched some television, went to sleep, and then disaster struck.  Dad insisted on taking my temp while giving me my oxycodone and I had a 105.3 fever!! Off to the hospital we went with barely anything and just my luck,  I have to stay the night.  Dad and I ordered Pizza for dinner.  Now time to settle down then go to bed and hopefully tomorrow we can go home for good!!!!!

HOME!!

Dr's came in around 6:30-7 and said well let you know the results soon.  Woke up around 9 and Mom goes " the counts weren't high enough so were staying."I then started to cry and she goes I'm just kidding were going home!!! I love being home in my own bed watching the Devils.  This also means no more shots in the stomach, 6am blood draws and all other horrible stuff.  The one thing that I wish didn't change are my tastebuds.  Diagnosed at January age 19, Done May, age 19!!!! oh and Wednesdays my birthday so right now... life is Good!!
