21 months clear!!

Hi all!
So yesterday, was my MRI, and results 21 months post treatment!  It was the MRI doctor's first day and apparently I made it very easy!  Its amazing how I think the MRI's go so much faster now and felt like they dragged forever when I was in the hospital.  Then we had lunch in the cafeteria while we waited for results, and has lunch with 2 people who apparently helped my family but I don't remember!
Then we went to go see Dr. M and got great news 21 MONTHS CANCER FREE.  And he wants to move my MRI's from every 3 months to every 4!  So I'm moving along!  Now all I can think about now that my MRI is over is SPRING BREAK!  Warm weather needs to be here, I'm ready for sundresses and a natural tan versus covered up clothing and jackets and colds!

Hope everyone's doing well!
Love,
Sarah

NO MORE SNOW!

Hi Everyone,
So I don't know about all of you, but I AM SO TIRED OF THE SNOW!!!  Its time for warmer weather, and spring break in the Bahamas (in my head anyways).  For Theta, I'm supposed to be doing library hours, but it's slightly very difficult to do work when we haven't had a full week of school yet because of snow days!  I feel like if we have another teachers will put work online but for now no one has, so I'm basically re-reading things i've already read! Last night I went to a toga party; good thing I wore clothes underneath because I am not very good at making a toga out of a bed sheet.
This week is hopefully going to be busy with school and Theta stuff!  Then Tuesday I will FINALLY be going to the eye doctor, and Wednesday is my oh so wonderful and not missed MRI, and then the results.  Then it will all be over until May; also known as BIRTHDAY MONTH!  To keep myself busy, I made a powerpoint of my cancer timeline because my Bio professor wants me to talk about it in front of the class, I finally realize and can't believe how far I've come in a year and a half!!!!!
Well I guess I should get back to doing "work"
Love to all!
Sarah

Oh and Happy Belated birthday to my Amazing Brother!

Alpha Phi's

Recruitment Weekend came and went, done in 2 days to dodge the snow! It was a packed weekend, in the end I ended up being in about 5 pictures of the 80 I took!  But we have 16 gorgeous new additions and I couldn't be happier (especially because I get another awesome little!)
Tonight I came home for blood work in the morning and then buying my bigs bridal shower gift and then getting my hair cut!  However, if it snows,  I WILL throw a fit!  I am so over winter it isn't even funny.  I am ready for it to be March 15th, when my butt will be in the Bahamas!
I am so over winter
Love,
Sarah

Happy Recruitment Weekend

It is a sorority girls favorite time of the year; Recruitment weekend!  This is a weekend where we meet a bunch of new people, and potential new sisters!  It is a time for potential bigs to see if they can see any girl becoming their little!  For me, I remember when I went out for recruitment, as well as when my Little Love went out for recruitment!  This weekend may be a lot of long hours, but it is all going to be fun and improving our amazing organizations.  Even if I'm tired I will be ready to go, and energetic.  This years theme is Keep Calm.  So for Theta it is Keep Calm and Never Stand Alone!  I love meeting new girls, and telling them all about the amazing things we've done, and what we hope to accomplish.  One of my favorite activities we do in the spring of course is Relay for Life (which I'm top fundraiser as of right now!).  So after class it's nap time then go time!
I hope everyone has a good weekend and Let it NOT snow!
Love,
Sarah

SNOW DAY!

So I woke up to a call saying the eye dr. was cancelled, and mom said go back to bed because we weren't going to get into an accident going to the hospital just for blood work.  Therefore I went back to sleep.  Then I was watching a Glee marathon until the satellite decided to stop working,  which left me no choice but to do homework!  Since tonight is the only night I have biology he sent us the upcoming power points, 2 are on cancer and I was just like "I really shouldn't have to know so much about this!"  The nice thing about staying home for the day was 1 my house is nice and warm, 2 my family is so nice and loving, 3 I don't have to walk outside to get food if I'm hungry!  So tomorrow I will go back for my one class and pack my room up because I'm moving to a new one for my own sanity!  I can't believe it is still snowing IT NEEDS TO BE SPRING BREAK!  So I can be in 80 degree weather on the beach in the Bahamas.
Also thank you to everyone whose donated to me for Relay for Life so far!
Enjoy your Snow day!
Love,
Sarah

Way away from Ramapo I'll be

This weekend after all that was going on, I decided to go home for the weekend and see my little cousin Ellie, and my parents.  Have a little fun this weekend was just what the doctor ordered.  As soon as I got home, Ellie was here 2 minutes later, and jumped into my arms.  Instantly whatever happened at school was out of my head.  We had a blast Friday night, watched a movie, had a sleepover, and of course dinner was amazing.  Saturday Ellie and I woke up around 9, had breakfast, and then got ready for the day.  I took her to get our nails done (she got green and white, and I got red because I wanted a color for Valentines Day).  Then we came home to pick up Aunt Maria and went to Panera Bread for lunch, and we both ate the whole thing.  For dinner Dad, Mom, and Aunt Donna had stuffed peppers and Ellie and I had thin crust pizza (we finished a whole pie herself).  Also this weekend I sent an email to loved ones about Relay for Life and so far have 250$ (please consider donating if you haven't yet).  Then we took Ellie to a little boutique, and she spent all the $ Aunt Donna left for her.  We watched another movie, then both went to sleep.

Today is SUPER BOWL SUNDAY!
Hard to believe the super bowl is in my home state, 30 mins or so from my house.  And to think in HS I marched on that field for Color Guard when our hs team played there for the championship!  It is so nice to be home, work out school, sorority, and room issues with the ones I love, know fully what happened and want nothing but the best for me!
Hoper you're all enjoying this day in front of the TV
Love,
Sarah
