homework day

Today after I woke up and had brunch with some of my sisters, it was time to "hit the books."  Now you all remember when I was begging for homework....but now I take it back.  Oh and I think school knows I've had time off because of my brain because look at my something in my psych book....the BRAIN.  Now I am done with my homework and am laying on my bed watching my favorite hockey team, the NJ Devils!  Lets Go Devils!
Tonight I will be going to bed early due to the fact I have class at 8am in the morning :(

First Weekend at Ramapo!

I am so tired, I think its from all the walking around campus!  I even slept till 11:30 which for me is late!! I am spending my Saturday Night laying around my room.  Watching movies off Netflix and eating.  Oh and of course I spent the afternoon doing homework.

WEEKEND!!!

Its the weekend!!   The theme of the get together with my sisters was social stereotypes.  I was a Geek!  Then today I went to class and ate a lot of food, and took a nap.  But MY FIRST WEEK AT RAMAPO IS DONE!!! Now it is snowing outside so I am in my nice warm bedroom watching the New Jersey Devils!  I may even get ahead on some homework for the weekend!

First hw assignment DONE

This morning I woke up, went to my blood test, then came home and ate 4 eggo waffles.  Then I went to Walmart to get suspenders because tomorrow we have a social with a fraternity.  The theme is social stereotypes (Geek, Band Geek, Jock, Goth, Prep etc).  Then Greg, Dad and I went to 5Guys Famous Burgers and Fries YUM, went to Bed Bath and Beyond to get be a step stool so I don't injure myself getting on and off my bed!  Then Dad took me back to Ramapo.  I did a few things then started my first homework assignment.  Remind me again why I missed school and homework so terribly much?!?  I can already tell that my professor for tomorrows 8am is going to be too peppy and happy for it being 8 O'clock in the morning.  We shall see how it goes!!

Move in and Day1 Done

Move in Day and Day one of class is complete and went really well.  My roommate Sam is awesome.  Today I had my first two classes and they were great.  Now I am home for the night because I need a blood test tomorrow Wah.  But Thursday is the day I am looking forward too the most, Greek Life Fair and social.  Here are some pictures of my room....

Last Night Home!!

Tonight is my last night home!! I leave for Ramapo tomorrow!  Of course we thought we were going to fit everything in the one car, but of course we were wrong.  Good thing I am tired so I will definitely sleep.  I woke up at 3am hungry, tossed and turned until 5am.  Then at 5 I went downstairs and made myself a waffle then thankfully I was able to go back to sleep until around 9.  I feel like all I did today was watch TV and eat.  Tonight for my final dinner at home Dad made surf and turf of course.  Now I am laying in my Queen-sized bed savoring the last few hours in it.  Though I know I am going to have an amazing time at school.
Cannot wait to see my Theta's and have a Roomie night with my new roommate Samantha!!

HOCKEY IS BACK!

So first before I get to Hockey...I FOUND THE MISSING PUZZLE PIECE.  Greg didn't vacuum it up like I thought.  I spent time crawling around the floor, lifting and shaking the rug; I stood up and turned around to find the piece on the floor!  So I put in the missing piece, here's the final puzzle officially Complete!

Now onto my Hockey Love.  Ever since I was little, I have been a fan of the NJ Devils and still am today!  When Greg and I were younger, the guy who did our kitchen, redid a lot of rooms for hockey players such as Scott Neidermeyer, Martin B and so on.  We went to a few games, and once even got to go to the Stanley Cup Party.  So Happy Hockey is back LETS GO DEVILS.

One more weekend

I still have one more week/weekend at home but this one was great!  We went to Saratoga to drop Mom off at Grandmas.  The best part of going to Saratoga is THAI FOOD!  I think there is still some sticky rice in my tummy!  Oh and we went to Kohl's and got be black pants that actually FIT!  Because the pants I have were a size 11/12 and now I am between a 5 and 7 depending on the pant :D.  This weekend I have been so tired so I slept in the car rides and went to bed early.
Now watching the Golden Globes before bed!  Going to Ramapo in the morning to see about my accommodations :D.

Great Day

So the 10th was Moms birthday and one year since my brain biopsy.  Time really has flown.  Today I did some running around with Mom and got my room assignment.  I'm in a double with a roommate but an upside is we have our own bathroom.  Tonight our family friends the Lacy's came over for dinner, I haven't seen them in so long so it was fantastic.  And we got an updated picture of the four of us so it was great to see them and catch up.  Now to do some reading before bed because then we are going to Grandma's in the morning to drop Mom off.  Oh and of course have Thai food one last time before I go back to school!

Great Day

Today I woke up and went to go get my nails done with Mom.  We got gel manicures one last time so it lasts through Moms stay at Grandmas' and my going back to school.  Then later in the afternoon we met Brooke and her mom for lunch at Panera Bread.  We caught up on seeing each other seeing as we both go back to school, Brooke this weekend, and me around the 20th.  Then I had a doctors appointment with Dr. Shulze.  So by  the time we were on our way back home it was rush hour and well Moms driving in the dark + rush hour are not a great combo.  Finally we got home and I worked on the puzzle.  Oddly at nighttime something clicks and I actually found puzzle pieces.  Now I am showered, laying in bed watching TV.  Tomorrow is Moms birthday, and one year since my brain biopsy so it should be another great day.

Monday Fun-day

Today was actually an entertaining day for a Monday.  Woke up, did some stuff for school and then my cousin Matt and Cioci Alicia came over for lunch!  It was great to see them!  I had chicken salad caesar wrap for lunch and it was so good.  It was great to see my cousin and hear about his first semester at Syracuse University!  Then I ordered all my books for school.  Had dinner and continued to work on the puzzle!
I wonder whats in store for tomorrow!

Sunday Night

Tonight was a ton of fun!  Well the nighttime anyways; all morning we cleaned the house.  The Perconti's came over for dinner!  Dad and I made Chicken Martini and it was delicious!! Now I am laying in bed watching a movie, seeing what things on the to-do list I could get done tomorrow!

This time last year I was rushed to the ER at Overlook Hospital due to all of the swelling in my brain.  Then from there began the worst nightmare anyone wants to live.  But look how far I've gone or come in a year.  Can't wait to start school!

Best Friday Nights

The best Friday Nights are the nights that I babysit my girls Danielle and Jaime!  We spent the entire night laying on the couch watching How I Met Your Mother.  Then Beth and Mike came home from the movies and asked me if I could watch Jaime again tomorrow and I am so lucky!  I love babysitting them!  Here are some pictures from our night on the couch.

First post in 2013!!!!!!!!!
Last night was great!  Stayed home with Greg and watched the New Years Eve with Carson Daily.  Finally at Midnight, I ran into Greg's room, jumped on his bed and yelled HAPPY NEW YEAR HAPPY NEW YEAR! Then the texts started flowing in, and the yawning started.  Before I knew it I was asleep.  Then I woke up and continued on the penguin puzzle.  Which is extremely difficult seeing as there's like only 8 colors in the entire puzzle!!! Tonight we had my favorite meal for dinner; SURF AND TURF!  It was so delicious.  Now I am in bed, watching Burlesque before bed!
I have a feeling 2013 is going to be an amazing year!
