Christmas is Over Already!!!! :(

I finally woke up for the day, and I still feel sick!

But on a happier note, I finished my semester on the 20th just in time to be home for the holidays.  Me putting up the ornaments on the advent calendar and then Greg changing them.  

Christmas Eve came and Dad cooked my favorite meal; fish, and fried/breaded shrimp and scallops.  Then I went to bed early knowing when I woke up it would be Christmas!  I woke everyone up at 6:30 for present time!  I am so lucky, I got spring break in the BAHAMAS, and clothes and Alex and Ani bracelets!  

Then we ate and headed off to Saratoga to be with the family, and it was so much fun!  I am so lucky to have such a great big, gigantic family to spend the holidays with!  All the cousins arrived, we ate, and then we opened presents, or should I say our envelopes with our gift cards in them! Then as always later that evening I was the first one asleep, I went to sleep in the basement of the other house which had no heat!  So I then was up most of the night trying to stay warm!  The next day we went out to lunch before everyone headed home at Druthers, and my new favorite meal is Mac and Cheese topped with Panko breadcrumbs.  Then left at Grandma's was our family and the Hafers.  Needless to say when we left the next day, even though I was sick I am happy to be heading home.

Now home, Dad has been playing Dr, and taking care of me since I still feel sick; sinus infection!  As long as I'm better for NYE I'll be okay! Now I just have until January 20th to relax before heading back to school!

HAPPY THANKSGIVING

HAPPY THANKSGIVING EVERYONE!! I am so thankful for all of my friends, family, and sorority sisters!  Each person has a special place in my heart!  I am so happy to be spending this day at home, relaxing, avoiding my papers, and eating my Dad's amazing Thanksgiving dinner! My favorite Thanksgiving traditions is laying around watching the parade; which I am currently doing!

2 MORE DAYS!

2 more days until Thanksgiving Break!  Meaning I could stay in pajama's all day if i choose, great food, and my queen sized bed.  Oh and my friends and family of course! But I'm sure most of break I'll be working on my 10 page paper that's due the day we get back.  If you were a teacher would you really want to do that to your students? I DONT THINK SO! All I want to do is be home in my warm house and do arts and crafts! However the crafts may just have to wait until winter break :( .

Last night my sisters and I helped out at the Garden Academy Gala and I must say helping people is so rewarding!

Well back to working on the Marino Calendar!

Sorry I've been having fun

Sorry I haven't been updating as regularly as I used to, but school surely has kept me busy.  My main news, MY MRI WAS ALL CLEAR! Clear as could be! Dr. M looked over all of my scans and he says that everything looks great! oh and HAPPY BIRTHDAY LITTLE!!! Well now back to the homework, fun, and counting down the days until Thanksgiving break!

Time flies when you're having fun

This weekend went my so fast!  Friday night, I had chinese food with my friend Gabby, and had a relaxing night!  Saturday I went to a party where the theme was Guys in Ties and Girls in Pearls!  Could not have asked for a better Saturday night!  Today was a lazy Sunday and have been relaxing and doing homework!  Time for a busy week ahead; however this week there are no tests! Just a pile of homework that I'm currently working on!  Thanksgiving break can't come soon enough!

HALLOWEEKEND!

So since I couldn't have fun on actual halloween I made it up the Tuesday before Halloween and the day after Halloween.  Great way to relieve stress is to have a night out with my sisters; and this time we were in costume!
Friday I was DD but I still had fun, and Tuesday's was on campus so of course I had fun with all of my friends!

WEEKEND

Even though I'm missing some of the week long Halloween Festivities at school, I am home for the weekend!

Thursday we went to the Devils Game, even though they lost we had great seats!
Now I'm home figuring out what I could wear all week for Halloween at school! Tonight I am babysitting my loves Jaime and Danielle! So I guess I should get to doing some homework! Tomorrow Is the club Halloween party and then Monday I have the DR! Then back to school to begin the festivities.

MIDTERMS

Sorry I haven't posted in awhile things have been beyond crazy! Its Midterms time! That means a lot of homework, a lot of papers, and a lot of tests!  Also October has been a crazy month with sorority events!  Sunday we participated in a Walk for Breast Cancer at Woodbury Commons!  It made me think of our old family friend Debbie Lacy, who died of breast cancer about 4 years ago.  Then after the walk my sisters and I went shopping! I was good and didn't spend a great deal but boy did they!!! I am also getting sick so I can't wait to go home this weekend for the Home Competition and to see my munchkins!!

Sorry it's been so long since I posted; literally have been doing nothing besides eating, sleeping, school, homework and sorority stuff!

I have been doing well in school even with headaches every so often.  My favorite class is sociology of the family!

To do homework or not that is the Question

Hi everyone,
So this past week was my first full week of classes; if you can call it that since I only have classes 3 days a week anyway!  But I already have 4 papers and only 1 is completed; oops I'm slacking!
Since being here I have seen Mom/Dad or both at least 3 times!  Yesterday Mom came up and we went to PANERA, Kohl's to get me shorts I needed for recruitment, and the store so I can have food.  Then we even got flu shots, since now I am at school I wanted to get it early.  Now it is almost 1pm Sunday and I have no motivation to do any of my homework right now, it is all just sitting in a pile on my desk and bed!  

This week was also 9/11 and I remember that day so clearly, being in Mr. Marra's fourth grade class; the classroom with no windows.  Teachers buzzing round trying not to get kids worried.  I can't believe it was that long ago but it feels like yesterday still.

Well I guess as much as I'd love to procrastinate, I should go do some work because this week is Recruitment so I will be busy and tired while having fun with my sisters.  I also want to wish my sisters at SHU best of luck as tonight is their bid night where they welcome the newest members!

Papers upon Papers

So remember how I was so excited to go back to school; yeah me too!  Well now that I am back with only having class for 2 days so far, I ALREADY HAVE 3 PAPERS!!! One of the papers is even on a book my teacher wrote!! Needless to say I am very happy that I have 2 days of no classes per week!  Those 2 days of no classes mean a lot of work should get done; so we'll see what happens!  Today my town and now officially all my cousins are back in school, so I hope that everyone is loving their teachers and classes.  Well I guess this was my homework break, now I'm going to go have the Yankee game on in the background and continue homework!

MRI AND SHOTS

So this morning at 8am was my MRI, then we went up to get my shots.  Dr. M was a little out of it, but it was nice to see him!  Then we had to wait 2 hours for 3 shots!  I'm sorry but I don't like the fact that the hospital collaborated with the cancer center; because now everything takes FOREVER!  But while I was waiting, it was a slow day so they were able to read my MRI.  ALL CLEAR ALL CLEAR!  After the shots finally came, I was a champ and then got rewarded with Cheesecake Factory!!  Then I came home, and took a nap!  Then dinner, played cards with Greg, and now I'm lying in bed!
Great Day and no worries or waiting for results!

Well this is the last weekend before work ends!!! Yesterday my Little came over and we finally celebrated my 21st birthday!!! We went to the pool, and mini golfing!
Tomorrow begins my last week of work!

WEEK 7

WEEK 7 HAS ARRIVED!!!! That means 1 more week!!!!!

But on a more important note;
HAPPY 17TH BIRTHDAY SOFI!!!!  I love you so much and I hope you have some fun in Washington DC for me!

MINIONS EVERYWHERE!!!!

Today was a GREAT day at camp!  Field Trip to the AMC Dine-In Movie Theater, and the kids last week voted on movies to either see Monsters U, Despicable Me2, and Turbo!  Our girls chose Despicable Me2!  They were fascinated by the movie theater, and the fact that they could eat lunch in the theater.  We sang camp songs the entire way to the point where I STILL have a huge headache.
But thankfully tomorrow is FRIDAY!  Then I'm going to Grandma's!!!!!!! Then 2 more weeks to go!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OH NO!

Well it is NEVER  dull moment at the YMCA.  WEEK 6 IS UNDERWAY.  Well yesterday I got a text from a co-worker saying that one of our campers' heads was infested with lice.  Immediately, I ran into my parents' room and had them check my head.  First thing after the kids arrived, the Boss Shannon talked to the girls about bullying, then five minutes later there was some shoving and words flying.  Then once that was resolved, they got in a line and they themselves got checked for lice!  ALL CLEAR!  The day then a little better it felt like a weight was lifted off our shoulders knowing that no one else had lice. Bad listening continued and on came a headache; lucky me!!!  The afternoon was not much better, and once we got out of work I could not have been more relieved to just come home, shower eat and sleep; also known as my daily routine!!
Last step is nearing closer and my eyes are closing shut!

FRIDAY FRIDAY FRIDAY!

WEEK 5 IS OFFICIALLY OVER!!!!!!
The weather this week was weird, hot to cold, then cold morning to heat afternoon!  And the best part is we got told that this coming Thursday we are going to see DESPICABLE ME 2!!!!!!!! YAY CAMP!  Today was all Free Swim and Pizza Day!  On an even brighter side it is Friday, and my cousin Jacob is coming to visit us for the weekend!!! So in all the weather needs to make up its mine on what it's going to do!

WEEK 5

Today started Week 5 of camp!!!! But of course to start the day off it was HOT and very humid.  The kids, cried, complained and can not say I blame them; I was close to doing so myself.  Of course shortly before hobby time, IT RAINED!  The girls were going crazy trying to grab all their stuff and then listen to the directions.  When we got up to the child care center, the adorable pre-school kids were just waking up from their naps!  With my campers, we made slime, which might make a mess but the kids enjoyed it a lot.  But boy do we need the rain, our grass was turning brown!  I hope it continues tomorrow so we can have a calm day.

Sunday already

Has it really been a week already!  Sorry I haven't updated much.  As soon as I get out of work I literally have come home, showered, ate and went straight to bed.  Especially this week with the heat getting up in the high 90s even reaching 100!
On Friday, Mom and I went to Nordstrom's for their anniversary sale beauty bash!  It was a lot of fun getting free makeovers and even free manicures.  But after that was over we were supposed to meet Dad at the country club; but my crankiness took over.  The rest of the weekend I have been sleeping, and relaxing gearing up for another week of camp.  On the bright side, 4 weeks of camp down with only about 4 weeks to go!
Today Mom and I even went to Target and I started looking at all the back to school supplies.  I even got a new BACKPACK!  Since camp has pretty much destroyed my other one, covered in paint and sticky from arts and crafts.  This will also be the first time I will be going to school in the fall since 2011.

Weekend Laziness

I love the weekend's because it's my time to just relax.  However something sad happened; one of the stars of Glee; Cory Monteith has died!  I am so sad and I know already that Glee will not be the same!  Especially since he and Lea Michelle were supposed to get married in 2 weeks.
The kids also helped worsen my cold.  So instead of having fun, I haven't really left my bed.  This is week 4 of work!  It needs to be August 16th; aka the day work is over and I can enjoy my last 2 weeks or so of summer!  It is going fast.  This week is supposed to be HOTT.  So I'm sure both the campers as well as myself will become a little cranky!

Brant Lake missin!

Hi Everyone,
So this past weekend was Brant Lake!!!!!!  I actually waterskii'd and tubed a lot!

But Monday started the 3rd week of camp!  More kids, more traffic in the morning, and more trouble throughout the day!   I think I have a sore throat everyday after work from all the instructions being told numerous times!  But though my girls may cause trouble, they're adorable.  After the camp is over, I need a serious vacation!

Can not wait for Mom and Greg to come back tomorrow!  If you want to see some of my pictures they're on my Facebook!

WET AND WILD

So Camp Week 2 began today!
It was drizzling when we got to work, then within a half hour, the creek overflowed and kids ended up standing on tables because our area was getting completely flooded!  Finally we got the kids to the church inside but the counselors were SOAKED.  Then the church didn't have AC in every room so it smelled, and a kid pooped on the floor making it smell worse OOPS.  But in all it was a fun day.
Now just relaxing in bed.  Dad made homemade chinese food for dinner!  So now I'm stuffed!  Relaxing watching television to gear up for another day of work tomorrow.  BUT on the upside I have Thursday off due to 7/4 then BRANT LAKE FOR THE WEEKEND!  WATERSKIING!
